When does the warranty apply?
This warranty applies only if all of the following conditions are met:
- An AceDoors residential garage door is purchased from an approved AceDoors dealer;
- The door is installed in a residential dwelling by an approved AceDoors installer;
- The warranty is registered online at www.acedoors.co.nz/warranty within 90 days of installation;
- The manufacturer’s installation, operation, maintenance, and testing instructions are followed;
- The door is serviced by AceDoors (or an authorised service agent) within 12 months of installation, and at least once every 2 years thereafter;
- The warranty claim is made within 15 years of the installation date (the warranty period is not extended for parts repaired or replaced under warranty); and
- None of the exclusions listed below apply.

This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser who registers the warranty online (the “owner”).
What does the warranty cover?
If this warranty applies and no exclusions apply, AceDoors will, at its discretion, repair or replace any residential garage door or component that fails to operate in accordance with the installation and operation manual.

Exclusions
This warranty does not apply if:
- The product is not installed and located in New Zealand;
- The door is used outside its intended residential purpose;
- A claim is made more than 30 days after the defect becomes apparent;
- The usage frequency exceeds what AceDoors reasonably considers normal;
- Installation or maintenance instructions are not followed;
- The door is fitted with an incompatible motor;
- The door is modified after installation;
- The defect is caused by water, pests, debris, or plant matter.
This warranty also excludes defects caused directly or indirectly by:
- Fair wear and tear;
- Events outside AceDoors’ control (e.g., fire, flood, lightning, theft, etc.);
- Structural issues or external equipment;
- Accidental damage or improper use;
- Errors or omissions in information provided by the owner;
- Inadequate or unqualified servicing;
- Electrical interference or power-related issues.
Statutory Guarantees
If the owner is a consumer under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, nothing in this warranty limits or excludes any rights under that Act, except to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, AceDoors’ liability is limited to the purchase price paid by the owner for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

- Date of manufacture
- Date of installation
- Installation address
- Name of approved dealer
The owner is responsible for any costs incurred in making a claim.
Modifications
No AceDoors representative, dealer, or installer is authorised to modify the terms of this warranty.
