Retail Chiller Blinds

Chiller Blind on Retail Milk Cabinet

Retail Refrigeration "Chiller Blinds" or curtains provide 24 hour protection when fitted on retail chilled or frozen food cabinets.

Chiller Blinds on open-fronted chiller food cabinets help to retain air at 4 degrees Celsius AND still allow access for shoppers who place their hand through the glass-clear vertical PVC slats to select their favourite chilled foods. Power savings of 35% can be expected after the Chiller Blinds are fitted.

Ace Chiller Blinds are fully fabricated modules up to 1200mm wide, where special lightweight glass-clear 100mm wide, butted PVC strips are fitted into a patented rigid PVC fixing system, specially developed for retail refrigeration. The Chiller Blinds are demountable and have the capability to slide - both features allow cabinets to be easily restocked.

Ace Chiller Blinds are used on retail display cabinets for delicatessen foods; milk, cream and other dairy products; meat cabinets; and "walk-in" cool rooms or freezers.

Fly-Stop Screens

When Chiller Blinds are used on entry doors or internal doors in food shops they are sold as Fly-Stop Screens.

It is here that their capability to easily demount and slide aside is a great advantage over other options.

Night Blinds

Thin polyester film curtains, with roll-up action can be pulled down over retail refrigeration cabinets - both vertical display and horizontal bin freezer cabinets - are called Night Blinds

They provide protection for frigerated food in cabinets when the store is closed and are an option to the 24 hour Ace Chiller Blinds.
