Rudnev™ Sectional Doors Open Up School
Rudnev™ glazed sectional doors installed in the new Elim School hall
Elim Christian College's new Junior campus welcomed its first students in February 2012. The new school is modern and colourful, and it incorporates flexible teaching spaces. The school hall is multipurpose, catering for assemblies, performances and sports. The design of the hall required two glazed sectional doors that could be opened to allow flow the adjacent courtyard.
Rudnev worked closely with Jasmax in the early stages of the project providing design and drawing detail. The door design was critical to ensure that the doors could be installed with the available side and headroom clearances.
The challenging installation was met with Raynor Alumaview glazed sectional doors. The doors, measuring 7.0m wide and 4.8m wide, open up vertically. The successful installation was a credit to the Arrow International staff and Rudnev technicians.
